A person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a shooting near Market and Jones streets in San Francisco on Monday afternoon, police said.
Officers patrolling the area heard gunfire around 2:58 p.m. and found a person who had been shot, according to the San Francisco Police Department. Officers provided aid until paramedics arrived and took the victim to a hospital.
