(KRON) — The City of Walnut Creek is reporting a water main break that is impacting traffic Thursday afternoon.
The city’s alert system sent a notice to residents around 2:15 p.m. that said to avoid N Main Street between Sun Valley Drive and Treat/Geary Road. If you’re familiar with the area, that’s not far from several stores, including BevMo!, Sprouts, and Walgreens.
Traffic is impacted both northbound and southbound. People are asked to avoid the area and consider alternate routes.
