Last week, Bay Area luxury home watchers were meant to see the conclusion of a highly anticipated auction for a one-of-a-kind Italian-inspired villa in one of Marin’s most exclusive enclaves.
The property, located right on the bay at 125 Belvedere, comes complete with a private pier and boat dock, a 51-foot motor yacht, leased boat parking at San Francisco’s Pier 39, and an exterior elevator to get from the cobblestone driveway at street level down the steep hill to the nearly 6,000-square-foot home below.
“It’s a Disneyland ride,” Compass agent Steve Mavromihalis said of the elevator, which was made in Switzerland.
