SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Major delays were reported across the BART system Tuesday afternoon as the transit service experienced several simultaneous problems. Service on BART’s Red Line was down completely as of 4:22 p.m.
Transit officials are advising passengers for Millbrae to take the shuttle train between SFO and Millbrae and transfer to the Yellow Line. Millbrae riders from Richmond are being advised to take the Orange/Berryessa train and transfer at MacArthur to the Yellow Line.
Elsewhere, trains for Berryessa were only going as far as 24th/Mission due to an equipment problem near Daly City. BART officials said there were major delays at Daly City in the SFO, Millbrae and East Bay directions, due to equipment problems…
