Much of Northern California remains under a heat advisory until Wednesday evening as temperatures in the 90s to low 100s continue.
The advisory covers the East Bay, the South Bay, Wine Country, the Peninsula and the Santa Cruz Mountains until 10 p.m. Wednesday for high temperatures in the mid-90s to low 100s. The Eastshore Freeway corridor from Richmond to Oakland could be slightly cooler, thanks to a light bay breeze.
The heat advisory extends into the Central Valley for similar temperatures. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms over the Sacramento Valley and northern Sierra Nevada on Monday, most likely north of Interstate 80…
