The Zeus Network has released a statement on the death of Ulysses “Bear” Davis, the security guard who was shot and killed outside San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre after a Baddies USA event. In the Zeus Network statement, the company offered condolences to Davis’ family and distanced itself from both Davis and the woman charged in his killing.
“The Zeus Network extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Ulysses ‘Bear’ Davis,” the statement read. “We are deeply saddened by his tragic death and our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.”
The network also addressed where and when the shooting happened. “The shooting occurred outside the Warfield Theatre after the event had concluded. Neither Mr. Davis nor the person charged in connection with the shooting was affiliated with Zeus Network. The person charged was not a Zeus employee or cast member of any network programming.”…
