Bay Area rapper mourns Oakland ‘legend’ killed in crash that left 3 dead

Bay Area rapper Mistah F.A.B. is mourning a man he described as a lifelong friend after a suspected speeding driver crashed into people outside an East Oakland store over the weekend, killing three and injuring five others.

In an Instagram post, the 44-year-old Oakland rapper, whose real name is Stanley Cox, remembered Robert Dixon, known as “Uncle Frog,” as someone he had known since he was 13.

Cox wrote that Dixon was one of his mother’s friends from “Cadillac Club,” the Tuesday classic car meetups held at his mother’s community space, and that the two spoke almost every day…
