A 51-year-old Boynton Beach woman was killed in a head-on collision Friday afternoon on County Road 42 in Summerfield.
The fatal crash occurred at 1:45 p.m. on County Road 42, just east of U.S. Hwy. 441 near The Villages.
According to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 46-year-old Ocklawaha man was driving a pickup truck westbound on County Road 42 when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered into the eastbound lane.
