An injured driver was transported by ambulance to a hospital in The Villages after a crash that occurred while leaving Billy’s Cafe.
The driver was at the wheel of a Mazda SUV at 9:51 a.m. Wednesday, departing the popular breakfast-and-lunch spot on U.S. Hwy. 441, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
