Chewy’s facility in Ocala evacuated during hazardous material response

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – The Chewy’s Fulfillment Center in Ocala was evacuated on Tuesday morning due to concerns about possible toxic gas exposure.

Around 8 a.m., Ocala Fire Rescue crews were called to the 600,000-square-foot facility on Northwest 35th Avenue Road due to a report of someone feeling lightheaded.
