A property that houses a Tropical Smoothie Cafe across from a popular shopping plaza in The Villages was just sold for $2.2 million.
The 0.739-acre parcel located at 5311 Sundance Trail in Wildwood was acquired by South Florida-based Manadi Inc. on April 28, for $2,255,700. The group bought the site from DD14 Wildwood LLC, which purchased the undeveloped parcel in November 2022 for $735,000 before constructing the current restaurant.
The Tropical Smoothie Cafe opened at the site in August 2023, four years after another location opened in The Villages. The 1,440-square-foot restaurant is situated near the intersection of Penrose Place and Sundance Trail in the development across from Pinellas Plaza in The Villages.
