An erratic driver with children in the back seat was arrested at a restaurant in The Villages.
Julia Lleo, 37, of Ocala, was driving at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when a report came in that she was “experiencing a medical episode or possibly a seizure,” according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
An officer located Lleo’s vehicle in the parking lot of Ruby Tuesday and found the New Jersey native to be “defensive and irate.” The officer detected the “odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person.” Lleo claimed she had experienced a seizure. She had two children in the back seat, ages 8 and 6, and believed she was off State Road 200 in Ocala.
Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, and upon their arrival, Lleo began “arguing and yelling.” Medics found no evidence that she had suffered a seizure. She became “aggressive,” began “screaming,” and refused to cooperate with police…
