A man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after a bag of fentanyl and cocaine fell from his person at a local Circle K.
Craig Howard Cebert, 56, borrowed a car from his mother, who is a resident of Spruce Creek South, a 55+ community in Summerfield. He drove her car Thursday night to Circle K in Ocala. A store clerk dialed 911 after spotting a transparent sandwich bag containing a white powdery substance on the floor near the soft drink area. The clerk noted the bag appeared right after Cebert walked away from the soda machine, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputy reviewed the store’s video surveillance, which showed Cebert — conspicuously dressed in a blue cowboy hat, a Houston Astros button-up shirt, blue-and-white pajama pants and white shoes — step back from the machine. As he moved away, the bag fell from his person onto the floor, according to the arrest report.
The substance inside the bag weighed 24 grams and tested positive for the presence of both cocaine and fentanyl…
