Starting Oct. 1, residents in The Villages will no longer be able to use the amenity payment drop boxes located at local postal stations.
The district announced that payments placed in the specific drop boxes will not be collected after the October deadline. However, residents who prefer to mail their payments can still do so from any postal station by placing their check in a stamped envelope and dropping it into the standard U.S. Mail slot.
