A Fruitland Park man wanted for violating his probation was arrested with marijuana at a hotel in Spanish Springs in The Villages.
An officer responded to Townplace Suites by Marriott, located at 1141 Alonzo Ave., The Villages, regarding a verbal disturbance around 12:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Upon arrival, they met 20-year-old Stefane Mykel Tasse.
A check of his criminal history revealed he had an active Lake County warrant for violation of probation for battery. He was subsequently arrested and searched. The officer found 11.22 grams of marijuana inside a clear plastic bag in his pocket, the report said.
Tasse was arrested on charge of possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams) in addition to the warrant. He was booked at the Lake County Jail without bond…
