A home in The Villages that was the scene of a SWAT standoff last year continues to amass fines for deed compliance violations.
Jana Stafinsky, 53, continues to be held without bond following the nearly five-hour standoff Nov. 20 at her home at 2186 Broxton Place in the Village of Ashland.
Prior to the standoff, during which Stafinsky allegedly pointed a gun at a deputy, she was apparently under mounting financial pressure.
That pressure continues to build as daily fines accumulate due to weeds and broken windows at the property. The fines currently top more than $10,000 and continue to grow…
