Approximately 378 horses will be auctioned during the Ocala Breeders’ Sales October Yearling Sale, which will serve as the final event of a year that has already seen $213 million in total sales and one horse that sold for a record-setting $10.5 million.
The two-day sale is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, and Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the OBS sales facility located at 1701 SW 60th Avenue in Ocala.
Bidding sessions will begin at 12:00 p.m. each day, with Hips 1 through 189 selling on opening day and Hips 251 through 439 offered on the second day. Supplemental entries will be accepted through Sept. 25.
