Surveillance video footage and cellphone records have allegedly linked a Tampa man to the theft of over 3,000 gallons of fuel from an Ocala truck stop, leading to his arrest on felony charges.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation in mid-July after an ongoing fuel theft scheme was discovered at the Pilot Travel Center located at 4255 W. Highway 326 in Ocala, according to the arrest report.
