A villa in the Village of Fenney has been classified as a “re-occurring violation” over the unkempt condition of the yard.
The property at 5870 Marsh Court in the Sweetgum Villas was the subject of a public hearing this past week at the District Office at Brownwood.
The first complaint about the appearance of the home’s landscaping beds was lodged Nov. 13 with Community Standards. A letter about the violation was sent to the homeowners, David Lee and Janice Kay Miller, who paid $174,000 for the villa in 2018. The home was brought back into compliance on Dec. 10.
A second complaint about the home was received on Aug. 21. This time, Community Standards found that the yard had not been maintained and had overgrown grass and weeds. A deed restriction warning was written by Community Standards, and the homeowners indicated the yard would be serviced…
