After more than 20 years in operation, the annual Nightmare on Pine Street Haunted Trail event has been canceled. Operators of Waynes World of Paintball Inc. said they were unable to meet City of Ocala Code Enforcement requirements in time for the scheduled dates.
“It just comes time when you throw up your hands and say, ‘I did what I could. There’s not enough time to do anything more,’” said Jackie Dollack, owner/operator of Wayne’s World of Paintball Inc.
