A couple claims that illicit landscaping was already in place when they bought their home in The Villages.

The home owned by Andrew and Lori Cook at 1982 Flowersville Place in the Village of Lake Deaton was the subject of a deed compliance hearing Wednesday before the Community Development District 10 Board of Supervisors at SeaBreeze Recreation Center.

A complaint was lodged July 20 with Community Standards regarding landscaping that had been installed at the home without the blessing of the Architectural Review Committee. The complainant alleged that the landscaping was encroaching over the property line, according to testimony presented at the hearing by Community Standards.
