Marion man accused of spray-painting woman’s car, threatening to kill her

A heated dispute over a night out culminated in the arrest of a 46-year-old Marion County man after he allegedly vandalized a woman’s vehicle and sent her graphic text messages threatening to shoot her.

On Friday, October 2, the female victim reported that her car had been vandalized, and a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy responded to her residence. At the scene, the deputy observed silver spray paint across the driver’s side door, rear quarter panel, and driver’s rear window displaying vulgar messages alongside the victim’s phone number, according to the arrest report.
