A grand re-opening event has been announced for the newly renovated swimming pool at Chula Vista Recreation Center. The event is set for 9 a.m. Monday, May 5.
The Chula Vista pool, originally built in 1993, has been completely renovated with new Marcite, waterline tile, coping, equipment, as well as pool deck pavers. The renovation has also made way for an additional 2,000 square feet of pool deck space, a new shade structure and a shade trellis.
