Man arrested after arriving to pick up children at Wildwood Elementary School

A man was arrested after arriving to pick up children at Wildwood Elementary School.

Officers were told that 55-year-old Andre Lamar Marshall of Wildwood, who did not have a valid license, drove to Wildwood Elementary School to pick up or drop off children, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. An officer working at the school informed the others that Marshall was back on Tuesday afternoon in a Toyota minivan.

An officer stopped the vehicle on Huey Street. When the officer approached the vehicle, he saw a child in the front seat who had the seat belt under his arm. Marshall then admitted he did not have a license, since it had been suspended for failure to pay, the report said.

A check of his driving history revealed his license had been suspended three times in Pennsylvania, all in 2013, and included failures to appear for a hearing or a trial, the report said…
