A 20-year-old man from Ocala was killed after his motorcycle struck a semi-truck at a Marion Oaks intersection on Tuesday morning, marking at least the eighth death of a motorcyclist on local roadways this year.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Marion Oaks Boulevard and Marion Oaks Drive at around 4:45 a.m.
