OKLAHOMA CITY – A fire at an apartment complex in Oklahoma City is raising concerns about squatters and property owner rights.
Tenants say vacant apartment was repeatedly broken into before fire
Tenants at the Tuscany Village apartment complex near Rockwell Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard said people had been entering the vacant apartment for weeks before Monday’s fire.
Oklahoma City fire officials at the scene said the blaze was intentionally set inside the vacant unit that tenants claim had been taken over by squatters.
