A court in Oklahoma recently upheld the conviction of a man named Anthony Borges who stole four Bud Lights from Toby Keith’s Dream Walkin’ Farms in 2024.
According to court records obtained and viewed by Whiskey Riff, it was back on July 9 when the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals confirmed a burglary conviction of multiple beer cans from the Big Dog Daddy’s farm in Norman a couple of years ago. Early last year (April 2025 to be exact), a Cleveland County jury concluded that Borges did steal the beers, and found him guilty of second-degree burglary.
He was supposed to serve two years in prison for the burglary, but Borges was apparently discharged from the Department of Corrections five weeks prior to the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals confirming his conviction…
