NORMAN, Okla. – A DUI checkpoint in Norman resulted in six arrests and three child endangerment charges over Labor Day weekend, according to police.
The Norman Police Department said officers contacted 303 drivers near 108th Avenue Northeast and Alameda Drive from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
The operation resulted in:
- Six DUI arrests
- Three child endangerment charges
- Four firearms removed from intoxicated drivers
- Two citations for transporting an open container
