OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Latino Community Development Agency (LCDA) is launching a $25,000 Building Fund after a water issue forced LCDA to close its doors this week.
LCDA said that while the immediate issue can be fixed, it highlighted a need for continued investment in LCDA’s infrastructure and growth.
“A $20,000 infrastructure problem can interrupt millions of dollars’ worth of mission, programs, and services,” said Salvador Ontiveros, President and CEO of LCDA. “As LCDA has grown, so has the impact happening within these walls. We want to make sure our building and infrastructure are strong enough to support the organization we have become and the community that depends on us.”…
