Man arrested for making death threats towards a sheriff’s deputy

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — 47-year-old Cory Charlston was arrested Tuesday after posting death threats towards an Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy on social media.

This happened after the deputy served Charlston with a Protective Order at his home in Northwest Oklahoma City.

“Mr. Charlston’s response was to get all over social media with extremely explicit suggestions as far as what he wanted to do should our deputy return,” said Aaron Brilbeck, with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office.
