North Dakota – North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong was appointed as the 2027 chairman of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission during the commission’s annual business meeting in Oklahoma City.
The appointment was approved by commission members while Armstrong attended the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Bismarck. His one-year term as chairman is scheduled to begin on Oct. 28, succeeding Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy in the leadership role.
