LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Dr. H. Dele Davies, interim chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, stopped in Lincoln on Friday as part of a statewide tour focused on health care access, workforce needs and UNMC’s role across Nebraska.
Davies has served as interim chancellor since 2024, after former Chancellor Dr. Jeffrey Gold was named president of the University of Nebraska system. In May, Davies was named a priority candidate for the permanent chancellor position.
