Ryan Lynch Officially Named Game 2 Starter in Omaha

OMAHA, NE. — North Carolina officially announced right-hander Ryan Lynch as the Tar Heel starter for Game 2 of the College World Series against West Virginia on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

Lynch’s last start came nine days ago in the Chapel Hill Super Regionals, where he went 5 ⅔ innings in Game 1 against USC, allowing six hits and four runs while tallying seven punchouts over 89 pitches.
