OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Heartland Pride parade moved through downtown Omaha on Saturday as temperatures approached triple digits.
Hundreds of people lined the streets to watch the parade, which featured a color guard waving rainbow flags, balloons in every color of the rainbow, and staff from the Omaha Fire Department and City Hall.
“This event is a chance for us all to come together and just enjoy each other’s presence, have family together,” said Jessie D’Eclair Roxia, the current reigning Miss Max. “I mean, this is all of our chosen family and just celebrate who we are authentically and everything that we love.”…
