Man arrested in connection to fatal Benson shooting changes plea

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man arrested in connection to a homicide near Benson has changed his plea.

Kashmiere Burse, 19, entered a plea of no contest to the charges of 2nd degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Burse was one of three arrested in connection to the shooting. 19-year-old Barry Burrus pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal conspiracy and no contest to possession of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony.

The third person, a 14-year-old boy, had his case moved to juvenile court…
