OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The man accused of keeping nearly 80 animals at his home in poor conditions is now facing additional charges.
Nicholas Sakis was previously cited for animal cruelty and keeping unsanitary conditions.
Sakis has now been charged with a total of 29 misdemeanors:
- 14 counts of animal cruelty
- One count of unlawful possession of a nondomestic animal
- Three counts of having an unlicensed cat or dog
- Three counts of not having proof of rabies vaccination
- One count of having more than two minipigs
- Three counts of not having a minipig license
- One count of animal nuisance
- One count of unsanitary living conditions
- One count of unenclosed poultry
- One count of failure to alter a minipig (failing to have it spayed or neutered)
