Westroads Mall Lands 4 Businesses With 3 More on the Way

Westroads Mall is on a roll lately. Omaha’s largest indoor shopping mall has welcomed several additional retailers with more in the development pipeline.

CAFOMA, a start-up coffeehouse, opened this week in suite 1221, a former Scooter’s Coffee space on the second floor between JCPenney and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Locally owned Cafoma is “rooted in Hispanic traditions and was created with the belief that coffee is more than just a drink—it’s a ritual, a pause in the day and a way to connect with the people around us.”

Toys R Us has added a Geoffrey’s Café on the lower level of its two-story Westroads store. Named after Toys R Us’ mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe, the café sells candy, ice cream and coffee drinks. Toys R Us opened during the holiday season late last year. Westroads was one of the nation’s first malls to land a Toys R Us store after the iconic brand made a come-back.
