Western Iowa man sentenced to 20 years for distributing “meth bomb”

(Omaha) — A former Honey Creek man will spend 20 years in federal prison after a Nebraska woman died from a “meth bomb” he provided her.

U.S. Attorney Lesley A. Woods of Nebraska announced that 32-year-old Tyler Foreman was sentenced earlier this month for distribution of methamphetamine resulting in death. Senior U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Bataillon sentenced Foreman to 240 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

The charge stems from an incident in September 2024 when Foreman provided a combination of methamphetamine and Alka-Seltzer, known as a meth bomb, to the victim. The victim later died of acute methamphetamine intoxication. Authorities later found Foreman’s backpack that contained 12 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia and six Alka-Seltzer packages…
