OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The name and renderings of the Omaha Streetcar were revealed by Mayor John Ewing and the Streetcar team on Friday.
Meet Oscar.
“Oscar” will be the official nickname for the Streetcar as it tested well with focus groups, per a city release, and that it carries “personality.”
“The Omaha Streetcar represents a bold, long-term vision for Omaha, and its branding is one of the many tools helping to build momentum toward 2028,” Ewing said. “The streetcar is a once-in-a-generation investment and a critical component of Omaha’s future.”…
