A motorcycle stop in Omaha, Nebraska, started with something relatively simple: a rider without a helmet or eye protection. By the time deputies finished looking into the man behind the handlebars, however, the list of problems had become considerably longer.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a CAT Deputy stopped 27-year-old Dominic Jones near 84th and Harney Street while conducting enforcement alongside the Omaha Police Department and Nebraska State Patrol. Deputies say Jones wasn’t wearing a helmet or eye protection, but those weren’t the only things he was missing.
Jones also didn’t have a helmet waiver, motorcycle endorsement, or valid driver’s license, according to the sheriff’s office. In fact, authorities say his license had already been revoked for 15 years following four previous DUI convictions…
