OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Center Mall near 42nd and Center Streets is being eyed by the Department of Veteran Affairs, according to an Omaha official.
Omaha City Councilmember Danny Begley said the city has learned the Department expressed interest in the property.
“In order to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs time to explore this interest, at tomorrows [sic] meeting a request will be made that the CRA designation public hearing and vote scheduled for October 6, 2026 be delayed to December 8, 2026,” Begley said in a statement…
