Emily’s 6 First Alert Forecast – Warmer Wednesday, rain likely this weekend

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Sunny skies kept temperatures very mild for the end of January, pushing into the mid-40s around the metro despite a stronger northwest wind at times. Clear skies and quiet weather will continue this evening with mild temperatures in the low to mid-40s. A light northwest breeze will continue into the evening, and should continue to be light for the overnight hours. Temperatures will cool back into the 30s after sunset, dropping back to around the freezing mark by 10pm. The clear skies and light winds overnight may lead to some patchy fog development. The fog along with runoff from the melting snow will likely result in more slick spots on the roads by early Wednesday morning.
