MavPro’s biannual concert featuring A Boogie Wit da Hoodie will be taking place at Baxter arena next Thursday, but MavPro got the hype train up and running with a merch giveaway at Cold Stone Creamery on Wednesday night.
Students were invited to claim free ‘A Boogie’ gear like shirts, hats, posters, waist bags and most appropriately, hoodies. MavPro also handed out vouchers that could be redeemed at Cold Stone for free ice cream. They told students to check the bottoms of their ice cream cups because one cup was marked with a sticker signifying a special prize for the recipient.
As it turned out, sophomore construction management student Charlie Gentry found the sticker under his cup, making him the lucky winner of two exclusive meet and greet passes for the April 30 concert…
