OMAHA, Neb. — Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern expect to file their revised merger application on April 30, as planned, UP CEO Jim Vena said on the railroad’s earnings call today.
The railroads are confident the revised document will fully address the shortcomings that the Surface Transportation Board identified when it rejected the initial application as incomplete in January, Vena says.
