OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is launching something new; a bike patrol.
In recent years, DCSO has never had a formal bike patrol program. Now, that is about to change.
“Starting a bike patrol program to patrol these vastly growing areas just like this, it’s important not community policing but also for the safety of the public we serve,” said Sheriff Aaron Hanson.
