OMAHA, Neb. — Union Pacific has released the schedule for the eastern portion of Big Boy No. 4014’s Coast-to-Coast Tour, including the first information on the ticket sales for the locomotive’s June 14 excursion on the Reading & Northern.
The trip including extensive Norfolk Southern mileage will begin May 25, conclude July 29, and include eight major public display events, as well as public viewing at several other locations and dozens of shorter whistle-stop appearances along the way. The full schedule is available here.
