Bo’s First Alert 6 Forecast: Spotty showers possible today, a perfect Mother’s Day

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – It’s another busy weekend in the metro as many events are happening including the Junkstock event!

Today will start out sunny but cloud cover will increase eventually becoming mostly cloudy this afternoon.

A front will bring a chance for a few t-showers mid afternoon through early evening. In the metro, our window for a little rain is 3:00-6:00 PM. The better chance of t-showers is south of I-80 close to the Kansas border.

No changes to the beautiful Mother’s Day forecast! Congrats to those who gambled on getting an outdoor brunch reservation weeks ago. There will be a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low to mid 70s.

We warm into the 80s early next week, and stay there more often than not. As a low pulls that warmer air it, scattered rain and storms develop Monday night into Tuesday morning. The off-peak timing means these should have little to no impact on outdoor plans those days…
