The annual Greater Omaha Heart & Stroke Walk is set for Saturday at Gene Leahy Mall in downtown Omaha. Hosted by the American Heart Association, the event raises money to fight heart disease and stroke, with a goal of $500,000. Organizers are encouraging people to participate as an individual walker, a team or a company. Check-in starts at 8 a.m., and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. Walkers can choose a 1-mile or 3-mile route, and registration is available online or on-site. It is free to participate…
