Multi-award-winning cartoonist and Omaha native Chris Ware returned home Wednesday, April 22, treating the community to an insightful evening conversation hosted by the Joslyn Art Museum, UNO School of Arts and UNO Office of Engagement’s Service Learning Academy.
Ware has earned several prestigious awards for cartoonists and comic writers over his career, including eleven Eisner awards and the 2021 Grand Prix de la ville d’Angoulême for lifetime achievement. Ware has also illustrated covers for The New Yorker magazine and written several graphic novels.
