The scratch-made Southern comfort food spot Southern Fowl will soft open its new Orlando location at 4544 Curry Ford Road from June 17-21, taking over the former Graffiti Junktion space in the Curry Ford West District.
The soft opening comes with a few incentives for early birds. According to a post shared by Southern Fowl, the first 100 patrons will get a free beer or soft drink with a $20 purchase. Guests who spend $50 will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift card, and those who spend $100 will get a spin on the restaurant’s prize wheel. The fine print says one entry per check.
Southern Fowl is led by chef-owner Va Propst, whose comfort-food résumé includes scratch-made Southern staples like buttermilk fried chicken, chicken pot pie, burgers, meat-and-three plates, salads, and bread pudding.
